It runs in an east-west direction starting from Main Street and crosses Center Street, 3rd Street, 4th Street North, 4th Street South, 6th Street and Scenic Highway and ends at Main Street. This street is part of the highways FL 17 and The Ridge as well as the Bicycle route "Ridge Scenic Highway". East Main Street also exists in Lake Alfred and Lakeland.
