It runs in a north-south direction starting from North US Highway 17 and crosses Apalachicola Circle and Clough Avenue and ends at Spring Garden Avenue. Ridgewood Avenue is also known as South Ridgewood Avenue. This street is part of the highways Dixie Highway from Daytona to West Palm Beach (1919), 1 and 5 as well as the Bicycle route "1 (Florida)".
