Main Street in Salmon is a two-lane main road (also known as Salmon River Scenic Byway). It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Courthouse Drive and crosses Water Street, North Terrace Street, South Terrace Street, North Saint Charles Street, South Saint Charles Street, North Center Street, South Center Street, North Andrews Street, South Andrews Street, North Church Street and South Church Street. Main Street is also known as Salmon River Scenic Byway. This street is part of the highways 93, 28 and Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Auto Tour Route.
