It runs in an east-west direction starting from West Main Street and crosses North 1st Street, South 1st Street, Northeast 2nd Street, Southeast 2nd Street, Northeast 3rd Street, Southeast 3rd Street, Northeast 4th Street, Northeast 5th Street, Southeast 6th Street, Church Street and Southeast 7th Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. East Main Street is also known as State Highway 44. This street is part of the highways 44 and Western Skies Scenic Byway.
