It runs in an east-west direction and crosses Lakin Street, Holliday Street, North 6th Street, North 7th Street, North 8th Street, North 9th Street, North 12th Street, North 13th Street, 17th Street, South Urish Road, South Wanamaker Road and South Fairlawn Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Osage County and Osage City. Flint Hills Trail is also known as Flint Hills Nature Trail. Flint Hills Trail also exists in Morris County, Lyon County and Miami County.
