It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Parks Trlr Park Road and crosses Martin Street, Main, Melancon Street, Simon Avenue, Broussard Street and Paul Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highways 31 and Bayou Teche National Scenic Byway. Bridge Street also exists in Ascension Parish, Tangipahoa Parish, Iberia Parish and St. Landry Parish.
