It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from State Route 17 and crosses Jackman's Mill Road, Baldwin Hill Road, Harris Choate Road, Watson Heights Road, Sanderson's Corner Road, Echo Lake Road, Oak Hill Road, Stockwell Lane, Tom Surrey Road, Maple Lane and North Wayne and ends at State Route 17. Main Street is also known as State Route 17. This street is part of the highway "17". Nearby there is among others a fire station. Main Street also exists in Oakland, Waterville, Clinton, Monmouth and Wayne.
