Central Street in Gardiner is a residential street. It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Lewiston Road and crosses Cherry Street, Green Street, Water Street, Walnut Street, Spruce Street, Pine Street, Oak Street, Maple Street, Brunswick Avenue and Elm Street. This street is part of the Bicycle routes 1 (Maine) and East Coast Greenway (ME Complementary route) as well as the highways 9 and 126. Central Street also exists in Hallowell and Randolph.
