It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Buxton Road and crosses Lund Road, Nottingham Drive, Garfield Street, Industrial Park Road, Colonial Drive, Oakwood Drive, Shadagee Road, Tasker Street, Village Green Drive, Franklin Street and Therrien Avenue. North Street is also known as State Route 112. This street is part of the Bicycle routes Eastern Trail Sections 5-7, 1 (Maine) and East Coast Greenway (ME) as well as the highways 5 and 112. North Street also exists in York, Sanford, Ogunquit and Wells.
