Main Street in Mountain Iron is a local road. It runs in an east-west direction starting from Old County Highway 169 and crosses Mining Avenue, Slate Street, Mesabi Avenue, Mountain Avenue and Marble Avenue and ends at Mineral Avenue. This street is part of the Bicycle route "Mesabi Trail" as well as the Hiking trail "North Country National Scenic Trail (MN)". Nearby you can find among others a place of worship, a library, a bar and a social facility. Main Street also exists in Biwabik, McKinley, Kinney, Iron Junction and Aurora.
