Southeast 89th Avenue in Blooming Prairie Township is a two-lane, asphalted local road (also known as County Highway 16). It runs in a north-south direction and crosses Southeast 123rd Street, Southeast 133rd Street and Southeast 138th Street and ends at US Highway 218, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. Southeast 89th Avenue is also known as County Highway 16. Southeast 89th Avenue also exists in Aurora Township.
