Highway 72 in Alcorn County is a two-lane, asphalted expressway. It runs in an east-west direction and crosses County Road 265, County Road 264, County Road 262, County Road 263, County Road 309, County Road 308 and County Road 307. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Glen and Alcorn County. This street is part of the highways NHS High Priority Corridor 7 and 72. Highway 72 also exists in Tishomingo County.
