Main Street in Anson County is a two-lane, asphalted expressway. It runs in a north-south direction starting from Buffalo Creek Road and crosses Dunlap Road, Fries Boulevard, Ridge Street, Baseball Street, Fire House Avenue, Smith Street, Waddell Street, Old Plank Road, Polkton Road, Thomasville Road and Wheless Boulevard. It connects Ansonville and Anson County. This street is part of the highway "52". Main Street also exists in Blowing Rock, Highlands, Fair Bluff, Dare County and Hyde County.
