Independence Boulevard in Union County is a three-lane, asphalted expressway (also known as Andrew Jackson Highway). The street has no sidewalks. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Monroe Expressway, Guion Lane, Smith Farm Road, Chestnut Parkway, North Indian Trail Road, United Entrance, Corporate Boulevard, Unionville Indian Trail Road West, Plyler Road, Fawnbrooke Drive, Wesley Chapel Stouts Road and Helmsville Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Indian Trail, Stallings and Union County. Independence Boulevard is also known as Andrew Jackson Highway. This street is part of the highway "74". Independence Boulevard also exists in Buncombe County and Carteret County.
