River Road in Barnes County is a two-lane, asphalted local road. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses 26th Street Southeast, 114th Avenue Southeast and 28th Street Southeast. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Getchell Township, Hobart Township and Stewart Township. This street is part of the Hiking trail "North Country National Scenic Trail (ND)" as well as the highway "Sheyenne River Valley Scenic Byway".
