It runs in a north-south direction starting from 41st Street Southeast and crosses 42nd Street Southeast, 43rd Street Southeast and 45th Street Southeast and ends at 46th Street Southeast. It connects Hill Township and Clifton Township. 136th Avenue Southeast also exists in Pontiac Township, Tower Township, Cornell Township, Lake Township and Rochester Township.
