It runs in a north-south direction starting from 9th Street Northeast and crosses Burrel Avenue Northeast, Burrel Avenue Northwest, Lenham Avenue, Lenham Avenue Southwest, Rollin Avenue Southeast, Rollin Avenue Southwest, Odegard Avenue Southeast, Odegard Avenue Southwest, Howard Avenue Southeast, Howard Avenue Southwest and State Highway 200. This street is part of the highway "45" as well as the Hiking trail "North Country National Scenic Trail (ND)". 9th Street Southeast also exists in Dover Township, Greenfield Township and Broadview Township.
