It runs in a north-south direction and crosses 53rd Street Northeast, 52nd Street Northeast, 1st Avenue, 51st Street Northeast, 50th Street Northeast, 49th Street Northeast, 48th Street Northeast, 46th Street Northeast, 45th Street Northeast, 44th Street Northeast and 43rd Street Northeast and ends at Jeannette Avenue, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Nelson County and Michigan City. State Highway 35 is also known as 115th Avenue Northeast. This street is part of the highway "35". State Highway 35 also exists in Walsh County.
