It runs in an east-west direction and crosses Elm Tree Road North, South Elm Tree Road, State Route 235, Emerald Drive, Shamrock Drive, Rupola Drive, North High Street, South High Street, Jefferson Street, North Church Street and South Church Street and ends at East Main Street, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Champaign County and St. Paris. This street is part of the highway "36". West Main Street also exists in Clark County, Plain City, Loudonville, Loveland and Verona.
