It runs in an east-west direction and crosses Briar Road, Fairgrounds Road, Johnstown Road, Dutch Cross Road and Marion Road Northwest and ends at Homer Road Northwest, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Bennington Township and Hartford Township. Lock Road is also known as County Highway 53.
