Main Street in Madison County is a two-lane main road. It runs in an east-west direction starting from West Main Street and crosses Inwood Road, National Pike, Chestnut Street, Mill Road, Race Street, East Street, North Heath Street, South Heath Street, Chester Street, North Center Street and South Center Street. It connects West Jefferson and Jefferson Township. This street is part of the highways 40 and Historic National Road (OH). Main Street also exists in Paint Township and Darby Township.
