It runs in a north-south direction starting from North Main Avenue and crosses East Poplar Street, East Court Street, East South Street, East Water Street, East Dallas Street, Queen Street, East Clay Street, Bay Street, Columbia Boulevard, Graceland Place and South Ohio Avenue. It connects Sidney and Shelby County. This street is part of the highway "Dixie Highway from Lima to Dayton (1918)".
