Main Street in Edgefield is a two-lane main road (Road number US 25). It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Buncombe Street and crosses Courthouse Square, Jeter Street, Potters Alley, Tompkins Alley, Lynch Street, Jones Street, Bacon Street, Johnson Street, Kendall Drive, Hart Street and Mims Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highways 25, 23 and Dixie Highway from Greenville to Augusta (1919). Main Street also exists in Greenville County, Spartanburg County, Laurens County, Anderson County and Oconee County.
