It runs in an east-west direction and crosses Harrelson Avenue, Cary Street, Spring Street, Bayboro Street, Mitchell Street, Stevens Street, Richardson Street, Market Street, Bell, Meeting Street, Railroad Avenue and Broad Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highway "9". Nearby there is a place of worship. Main Street also exists in Conway and Myrtle Beach.
