It runs in an east-west direction and crosses 397th Avenue, 399th Avenue, SD Highway 37, 401st Avenue, County Highway 20, 403rd Avenue and 404th Avenue and ends at 405th Avenue, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Silver Creek Township and Woonsocket Township. 228th Street also exists in Oneida Township.
