It runs in an east-west direction and crosses Traylor Street, Shermell Street, Randybrook Drive, Oleta Avenue, Brasell Street, Hemlock Road, Trenton Street, Garvan, Herty Street, North Warren Street, Everitt Street and Arena Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This street is part of the highways 103 and Texas Forest Trail. Atkinson Drive also exists in Grayson County.
