It connects Big Spring and Howard County. This street is part of the highways 87, NHS High Priority Corridor 38 and US 87/I-27/US 87/US 83/I-10 Texas Trunk System corridor. North US Highway 87 also exists in Swisher County, Mason County and Gillespie County.
