West Main Street in Vergennes is a two-lane, asphalted main road (also known as Vermont Route 22). The street has partly no sidewalks. It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Main Street and crosses Canal Street, Scovel Lane, White Street, Elm Street, Panton Road, Hillside Drive and Commodore Drive. West Main Street is also known as Vermont Route 22. This street is part of the highways 22A and Lake Champlain Byway. West Main Street also exists in Chittenden County, Orleans County, Caledonia County and Essex County.
