It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Molly Supple Hill Road and crosses East Hill Road, Bushey Road, South Bear Swamp Road, Brook Road, Leland Farm Road, Windlea Drive, Zdon Road, Private Road 5, Notch Road, McCullough Hill Road and Colby Road. Center Road is also known as Middlesex State Highway. Center Road also exists in East Montpelier.
