Main Street in Waitsfield is a two-lane, asphalted main road (also known as Vermont Route 100). It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses North Fayston Road, Airport Road, Meadow Road, Hartshorn Road, Quarry Road, Riverview Road, Tremblay Road, Armstrong Road, Old County Road, Parsonage Lane, Bridge Street and Farr Lane. It ends in a cul-de-sac. Main Street is also known as Vermont Route 100. This street is part of the highways 100 and Mad River Byway.
