It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Cemetery Street and crosses East Main Street, Page Street, Taylor Street, Eades Street, Central Avenue, Master Hill Road, Fox Avenue, 1st Street, Beacon Street, 2nd Street and 3rd Street. West Main Street is also known as Midland Trail. This street is part of the highway "60". West Main Street also exists in Berkeley County, Hampshire County, Preston County, Harrison County and Marion County.
