South Road in South Australia is a two-lane, asphalted, lit expressway (60 km/h). The road has sidewalks. It runs in a north-south direction and crosses Anzac Highway, Barwell Avenue, George Street, Richmond Road, Deacon Avenue, Albert Street, Frederick Street, Davenport Terrace, Bennett Street, Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Ballara Street and Flaherty Lane. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects Melrose Park, Glandore, Mile End, Regency Park, Torrensville and Kurralta Park. This road is part of the long-distance road "A2". In the vicinity, there is among other things a kitchen showroom. The tram lines FESTVL and GLNELG and the bus lines 719, 720 and 721 serve this stop. South Road also exists in Angle Park, Wingfield, Bedford Park, St Marys and Thebarton.
