It runs in a southeast-northwest direction starting from Moonta Bay and crosses Coast Road, Recreation Road, Hughes Avenue, Highview Grove, Connor Road, Anderson Court, Roach Court, Challa Court, Marilyn Street, Bartlett Street and Kitto Road. Bay Road also exists in The District Council of Grant, City of Mount Gambier, The District Council of Streaky Bay, District Council of Elliston and City of Victor Harbor.
