Clyde Sculpture
This sculpture has been installed at the historic Kapunda mine site to illustrate how horses were used to help haul mined ore to the surface. Behind the sculpture is a wooden whim, or horse capstan, which the horse would turn in order to pull attached ropes and pulleys in the mine shaft. – CatherineSAHistory, cc0 – Wikimedia Commons
