It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Aspley Heights Road, Dennett Road, Black Joe's Road, Oaklodge Road, Vogt Road, Helston Road, School Road, Kidman Road and Moyle Road and ends at Clare Road, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. This road is part of the hiking trail "Heysen Trail" and the mountain bike route "Mawson Trail". Tarlee Road also exists in Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council.
