2nd Avenue North in Village of Hay Lakes is a two-lane, asphalted residential street (30 km/h). The road has no sidewalks as well as parking spaces (parallel parking). There is no cycle path. It runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses 1st Street North and Main Street and ends at 2nd Avenue South, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. 2nd Avenue North also exists in Municipal District of Taber, Village of Champion and Town of Vauxhall.
