Bamfield Main in Area A (Bamfield) is a two-lane, gravelled secondary road (70 km/h, also known as Franklin River Road). It crosses Underwood Main, Bell Road, Museum Cutoff, Bamfield 10, Thomas Main, Ridge Main, Corrigan Main, Roberts Main, Elk Main, Hawthorne Main, Grey Main and Hawthorn 101A and ends in a cul-de-sac. Bamfield Main is also known as Franklin River Road. This road is part of the hiking trail "Vancouver Island Trail". Bamfield Main also exists in Area F (Cherry Creek).
