Lougheed Highway in Maple Ridge is a two-lane, asphalted expressway (80 km/h). The road has no sidewalks as well as cycle paths. It runs in an east-west direction and crosses 216 Street, Laity Street, 280 Street, 223 Street, 224 Street, Fraser Street, 225 Street, 226 Street, 207 Street, Haney Bypass, River Road and 263 Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac and connects West Maple Ridge, Town Centre, Central Maple Ridge, Albion Industrial, Ruskin and Spilsbury. This road is part of the long-distance road "7". Lougheed Highway also exists in Burnaby, Pitt Meadows and Port Coquitlam.
