It runs in a north-south direction and crosses 142 Avenue, 130 Avenue, 128 Avenue, 125 Avenue, 124 Avenue, Dewdney Trunk Road, 117 Avenue and 116 Avenue and ends at Palmer Rolph Street, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Webster's Corners, Whonnock and Allco. 256 Street also exists in Thornhill.
