Nelson Beach West (BCMT). Cobble beach with some boulders, tricky at high tide. Some protection from NW. Forest very dense behind beach but up rocks on E side is small level point with room for 3 or more tents in upland forest. Some brushing needed. Water at small creek. View. – approx. 45,4 km.

Simson Reef (BCMT). Cobble beach with some boulders. S aspect. Reef gives some protection from NW. A few upland forest sites with potential for many more. Water at small creek. – approx. 47,7 km.

Nichols Bay (BCMT). Undeveloped. Steep narrow beach with logs make landing tricky at higher tides. Usable for NW winds. Small cleared upland forest site on NE of bay, clearcut behind. Brushing might be required. – approx. 31,9 km.
