Pacific Avenue in Roland, Manitoba

Pacific Avenue in Rural Municipality of Roland is a two-lane tertiary road. It runs in an east-west direction starting from Arctic Road and crosses South Avenue, 5th Street, 4th Street, 3rd Street, 2nd Street and 1st Street and ends at Spruce Street. Pacific Avenue also exists in Brandon and Selkirk.

World's Largest Pumpkin. Roland’s Large Pumpkin is a tribute to one of Roland’s outstanding citizens and a long time member and supporter of 4-H. Known for his ability to grow large pumpkins, Edgar VanWyck made the Guinness World Book of Records for the largest pumpkin in 1977. – approx. 700 m.
