Military Road in St. John's is a two-lane, asphalted secondary road (50 km/h). It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Gower Street and crosses Ordnance Street, Cochrane Street, Steward Avenue, Bannerman Street, Colonial Street, College Square, Carew Street, Knight Street, King's Road, Monkstown Road and Prescott Street. It connects Downtown, Ecclesiastical District and Georgestown.
