Main Street in Canso is an asphalted service road. It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses Canso Loop, Memorial Lane, Sterling Street, Whitman Street, School Street, Union Street and Water Street. It ends in a cul-de-sac. This road is part of the long-distance road "16". Main Street also exists in Guysborough.
