Highway 344 in Steep Creek is a two-lane, asphalted secondary road (road number NS 344) and runs in a southeast-northwest direction and crosses Grants Lane. Highway 344 is also known as Marine Drive. This road is part of the long-distance roads 344 and Marine Drive and the bicycle route "Trans Canada Trail (Pictou to Cape Breton)". Highway 344 also exists in Middle Melford, Manchester, Pirate Harbour, Aulds Cove and Manassette Lake.
