Main Street in Kearney is a two-lane, lit residential street (40 km/h) and crosses a bridge. It runs in a north-south direction starting from Sand Lake Road and crosses Perry Road, Lakeview Avenue, Rain Lake Road, Lake Street, Regent Street, Strand Avenue, Albert Street and Bill Groome Road. It ends in a cul-de-sac. Main Street is also known as Allister Johnston Bridge. This road is part of the bicycle route "Old Bethune Trail". In the vicinity, you can find among other things a post office, a convenience store, a restaurant and a fire station. Main Street also exists in Powassan, South River, Sundridge, Burk's Falls and Armour Township.
