Turnpike Road in Somerset, Compton Bishop is a two-lane, asphalted expressway. It runs in a northeast-southwest direction and crosses Notting Hill Way, Old Coach Road, Cross Moor Drove and Cross Lane and ends at Bridgwater Road, while the other end is a cul-de-sac. It connects Compton Bishop, Weare and Badgworth. This road is part of the long-distance road "A38".
