It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Dover Road and crosses Acadia Street, Oak Street, Island Avenue, Pleasant Street, Common Street, Dam Street, Cross Street, Hall Street, Main Street and Main Street Hill and ends at Spring Street. This street is part of the highways 7 and 23. Nearby there is a museum. Church Street also exists in Brewer, Patten, East Millinocket, Carmel and Medway.
