Main Street in Canaan is a two-lane expressway. It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from Canaan Road and crosses Relative Valley Drive, Merritt Street, Hinckley Road, Easy Street, Hill Road, Hartland Road, Overlook Drive, Land Drive, Cabin Road, Black Stream Drive and Tropical Fish Road and ends at Canaan Road. This street is part of the highways NHS High Priority Corridor 50, 2 and 23. Main Street also exists in Fairfield, Anson, Madison, Skowhegan and Norridgewock.
