It runs in a north-south direction starting from 40th Street Southeast and crosses 41st Street Southeast, 42nd Street Southeast, 43rd Street Southeast, County Road 6, 45th Street Southeast and 46th Street Southeast and ends at 47th Street Southeast. It connects Gill Township and Walburg Township. 148th Avenue Southeast also exists in Dows Township, Erie Township, Empire Township, Wheatland Township and Watson Township.
