It runs in an east-west direction starting from Montgomery Road and crosses Stewart Park, Wesley Avenue, Marion Avenue, Ash Street, Forest Avenue, Linden Avenue, Beech Street, Orchard Street, Duramed Road and Ridge Road and ends at Kennedy Avenue. It connects Columbia Township, Norwood and Oakley. Highland Avenue also exists in Blue Ash, Elmwood Place, Lockland, Silverton and Springfield Township.
